This team is entrusted with the day-to-day management of programmes, services, and resources, ensuring that strategic objectives set by the Board are translated into effective action on the ground.
The Management and Operations Team oversees programme implementation, financial administration, partnership coordination, safeguarding practices, and organisational systems. Working within clearly defined policies and governance frameworks, the team ensures that all activities are carried out lawfully, transparently, and in line with Sawaeid’s values and charitable purposes.
Members of the team bring relevant professional expertise across humanitarian delivery, administration, community engagement, and support services. Their work focuses on responsiveness to need, efficient use of resources, and continuous improvement, while maintaining the dignity, safety, and wellbeing of those served by the organisation.
While accountable to the Board of Trustees, the Management and Operations Team operates with delegated authority to manage daily functions, monitor performance, and adapt programmes to changing circumstances. Through this structure, Sawaeid ensures that governance, strategy, and operations work together effectively—supporting reliable, ethical, and impactful humanitarian action.
Yasin Yaslam Altayeb serves as Vice Chairman of Sawaeid and is the operational backbone of the organisation. As Chief of Operations, he oversees all programmes, funding campaigns, and strategic implementation across Sawaeid’s activities. With a hands-on leadership style and unwavering commitment, he plays a central role in ensuring that humanitarian responses are timely, effective, and accountable. His dedication, vision, and tireless effort make him the driving force and beating heart behind Sawaeid’s day-to-day operations and mission delivery.
Mohamed Hassan leads Sawaeid’s promotions, social media outreach, and fundraising initiatives. Leveraging his extensive network and strong communication skills, he plays a vital role in expanding Sawaeid’s reach, mobilising supporters, and driving successful fundraising campaigns. His work ensures that Sawaeid’s message reaches the right audiences, amplifies the voices of those in need, and converts awareness into meaningful action and support.
Hassan Husain Omar oversees Sawaeid’s programmes, community-building initiatives, and counselling services. He is responsible for designing and managing support programmes that address the real needs of children, families, and communities affected by crisis. As an experienced events organiser and programme lead, he plays a key role in delivering safe spaces, community healing initiatives, and wellbeing-focused activities that strengthen resilience and social cohesion.
Sanaa Nidaa Ibrahim manages Sawaeid’s operations in Egypt, overseeing procurement, purchasing, and logistical coordination. She ensures that essential goods are sourced responsibly, efficiently, and transparently, supporting Sawaeid’s humanitarian responses across borders. Her role is critical in maintaining operational reliability, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of aid.
Osman AlGondi serves as Sudan Operations Manager and Head of Sawaeid’s Sudan Office. He oversees in-country operations, coordination with local partners, and the implementation of humanitarian programmes on the ground. Working in a highly complex and challenging environment, he ensures that aid reaches those most in need safely, efficiently, and with dignity. His deep understanding of local contexts, logistics, and community networks is essential to Sawaeid’s ability to operate effectively inside Sudan.
